Coffee as a work of terroir
La Réminiscence is a Martinique specialty coffee house founded by Luigi Germany, a passionate roaster, with a simple conviction: a great coffee deserves the same level of care as a great wine.
Each coffee we select is the result of an encounter with a terroir, a botanical variety, a producer, and a story. Our role is not to transform this identity, but to reveal it through precision roasting.
Our workshop, located in Martinique, is the place where this exceptional raw material finds its truest expression.
Selection is paramount.
We are not looking for volume.
We are looking for cafes capable of evoking emotion.
Each origin is chosen for its aromatic identity, its traceability, and the remarkable work of the women and men who cultivate it. We prioritize batches produced with respect for the terroir and the producers, in order to offer coffees where each cup tells an authentic story.
Our collections evolve with the rhythm of the harvests. Each issue represents a new origin, a new emotion, and a new discovery.
Precision roasting
Roasting is an exercise in balance.
Our approach is to preserve the natural identity of the bean rather than mask it. Each profile is developed individually to express the full aromatic richness of the coffee: its sweetness, its complexity, its texture and its length on the palate.
No coffee is roasted according to a universal recipe.
Each origin has its own rhythm.

La Réminiscence is today one of the houses specializing in specialty coffee in Martinique.
From our workshop, we roast each coffee with the same exacting standards, before shipping them to individuals, restaurants, hotels, coffee shops and professionals who wish to offer an exceptional coffee experience.
Our ambition is to promote specialty coffee far beyond our territory, while showcasing Martinican expertise on the international stage.
